Happy Mother's Day Las Vegas!

Mother's Day is this Sunday.  Do you know what your plans are yet?  Lucky for you, there are plenty of great places to take your Mom out on the strip.  Food to entertainment there is something for everyone this Sunday.  You can find out about more of these plans at the Vegas Blog.





Mother’s Day is the time of the year to show your mom how much you appreciate her. It’s supposed to be a day of relaxation and pampering, so don’t let her do any of the cooking! Many Las Vegas restaurants offer special ways for you to treat mom to a brunch or dinner on Sunday, May 12.

Tender Steak & Seafood at Luxor will offer a prix-fixe menu with wine pairings to treat moms this Mother’s Day. The menu will feature a choice of two entrées: the Canadian Skuna Bay Salmon entrée for $75 and the Oregon Spring Lamb Tasting Trio for $85. Guests may add an optional wine pairing to each course for $30 per person. The Mother’s Day menu will begin with a choice of lobster ravioli and artichoke crab ragout or prosciutto, white asparagus and baby beets. The second course will be a choice between the garden greens salad or split pea soup. The entrées include a choice between Canadian Skuna Bay salmon or the Oregon spring lamb tasting trio. To conclude the meal, mothers can savor Tender’s dessert tasting trio that will include vanilla bean crème brûlée with crystallized rose, cherries jubilee angel food shortcake and blood orange sorbet.


Chicken scaloppine at Trevi

Trevi inside The Forum Shops at Caesars will honor all moms this Mother’s Day with a prix-fixe menu. Mothers will be treated to a complimentary bellini and four-course meal of Trevi specialties, priced at $54 per person. The first course will be a choice between fresh tomato bruschetta or calamari fritti. The second course will be a traditional Caesar salad. The entrée course will offer four selections to choose from: penne diavolo; capellini al pomodoro; chicken scaloppine or salmon picatta. Moms will be treated to a dessert course with the option of homemade cheesecake topped with chocolate, strawberry or caramel sauce; or chocolate “gooey” cake, a warm chocolate cake with a melted-hot chocolate center, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla bean gelato and fresh raspberries.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere will feature a special combination plate in addition to the regular Top of the World Sunday Brunch menu: Oxacan sweet potato pancake with dulce de leche cream and tropical fruit salsa, alongside a crab cake on Spanish chorizo hash with quail egg, hazelnut Romesco and cilantro coulis, for $30. Mother’s Day Dinner at Top of the World will offer guests a mixed grill option, featuring a petit filet with coffee rub and bourbon demi-glace, boneless quail with south-of-the-border adobo and a lobster risotto cake, served with seasonal vegetables for $70.

McCall’s Heartland Grill at Stratosphere will offer mothers the filet Oscar, a char-grilled tenderloin of beef served with a pan seared lobster cake, grilled asparagus and a duo of béarnaise and wild mushroom sauce, for $35.

Central Michel Richard at Caesars Palace will celebrate Mother’s Day with a specialty brunch menu, priced at $25 per person. The first course will begin with a choice of fresh fruit salad; a fruit parfait with house granola; or salmon lox served with a brioche bun and crème fraiche. For the second course, guests will have the option of lobster eggs Benedict; crab eggs Benedict accompanied by asparagus; or Caribbean French Toast made with piña colada mix, fresh shaved coconut and served with a raspberry coulis and fresh berries. All mothers will receive a complimentary mimosa and raspberry macaroons with their entrée.


Caribbean French Toast at Central

The Buffet, located inside Treasure Island, will offer special brunch items in honor of Mother’s Day. Entrée options include: warm fruit crepes, maple smoked salmon, baked scallops St. Jacques, creamy lemon garlic seafood shells, lobster ravioli, apple roasted pork loin, carved leg of lamb, sliced ham, sweet potato casserole and peel-and-eat shrimp. Dessert options include: white chocolate mousse cake with raspberries, bread pudding, cheeses and seasonal fruits. Cost is $23.95 for adults and $12.95 for children and the buffet is available from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meatball Spot at Town Square is offering a special four-course “Mama Mia” meal on Mother’s Day. For $24.95, guests can feast on Chef Carla Pellegrino’s Caprese salad, meatball bruschetta, rigatoni with spicy meat sauce and an ice cream sandwich. Ladies get a complimentary bloody Mary, mimosa or sangria.

Moms can take a day off and relax this Mother’s Day at Public House Las Vegas in Luxor with a $25 brunch special featuring bottomless mimosas and a choice of a signature dish from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mothers can enjoy the vanilla bean French toast, served with strawberry and blackberry compote. Savory brunch items include short rib eggs Benedict; the breakfast sandwich, complete with fried eggs, applewood smoked bacon or banger sausage, topped with cheddar cheese; and steak and eggs, an 8-ounce strip steak served with pizzaioli sauce and scrambled eggs.

All ladies will enjoy a complimentary mimosa with the purchase of any full-price menu item on Mother’s Day at PBR Rock Bar & Grill, inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Mothers can also enjoy menu items such as Belgian waffles topped with sugar, whipped cream and choice of fresh fruit or the classic French toast, warm brioche bread dipped in crème brûlée batter, griddled and topped with pecans and powdered sugar.

Moms can enjoy a three-course brunch at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, located at 8721 W. Charleston Blvd. The brunch, priced at $36.95, begins with a choice of appetizer including lobster bisque, Caesar salad or fresh seasonal fruits. Entrée choices include prime rib, baked brioche French toast and more. The meal ends with choice of desserts including white chocolate bread pudding. Each mom will receive a $25 dining card valid for a future visit.

Toast mom at the Springs Cafe’s Mother’s Day champagne brunch, featuring lobster truffle mac & cheese, osso bucco cut braised short rib, cooked to order omelettes and a variety of salads, desserts and other sustainable delights. After brunch, enjoy a stroll through the blooms in the Preserve Gardens. Brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Cost is $29.95 adults, $14.95 children (6 to 12); free for children 5 and under.

As a thank you to moms everywhere, Simon Restaurant & Lounge at Palms Place is offering a Mother’s Day brunch for $54.50 for adults and $24.50 for children 12 and under. The special menu includes savory beef and pork tenderloin, garlic fingerling potatoes and delectable desserts, in addition to the classic Simon Brunch menu. As an added treat, all mothers will receive complimentary champagne, mimosas and bellinis.

A Mother’s Day three-course specialty menu will be served family-style at Comme Ça at The Cosmopolitan for $49 per person. Menu items will include smoked salmon rillettes with deviled egg and the herb roasted loup de mer, a classic French fish dish. Each meal will be served along with a variety of additional dishes including a classic lemon tart for dessert.

MOzen Bistro at Mandarin Oriental will serve a Mother’s Day brunch from noon – 2:30 p.m. offering fresh sushi; an elaborate seafood station featuring crab claws and Kumomoto oysters; a live carving station of certified Black Angus Rib Eye; traditional Dim Sum; delectable dessert offerings and the choice of signature entrées including pan seared diver sea scallops, Hong Kong- style steamed grouper and more. Guests can complement their meal with a choice of free-flowing mimosas or Veuve Clicquot Champagne as well as signature cocktail offerings like the organic bloody Mary, Thai chili and garlic-infused bloody Mary, and the jalapeño lime bloody Caesar. Each mother will receive a box of specialty chocolates and truffles, as well as be entered into a raffle to receive a complimentary spa journey at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental. Brunch is $68 per person, free-flowing champagne is $35 and free-flowing mimosas are $19.

Andrea’s in Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, is offering a prix-fixe Mother’s Day menu for $65 (not including tax and gratuity). Executive chef Joseph Elevado’s special menu includes shared appetizers: chilled sweet pea and miso soup with yuzu crab salad; and miso marinated cod lettuce wraps with crispy beet. Entrée choices include: tofu “steak” with shitake crust, crispy shallot, edamame, soy mirin reduction and truffle oil; steamed sea bass with artichokes, garlic, ginger, cured lemon, green onion, cilantro and Calimansi soy; or petite filet, smashed potatoes, sudachi hollandaise. The meal is complete with Andrea’s desserts for the table. Dinner service begins at 6 p.m.

Hash House A Go Go celebrates mom with food specials including strawberry Frosted Flake pancakes ($8.25); roast chicken Betsy, a fresh split biscuit with spinach, mushrooms and house roasted chicken crowned with scrambled eggs and trimmed with basil pesto cream ($13.95); HHAGG Sausage Waffle — a homemade waffle with seasoned pork sausage cooked into it ($11.95); and Hash House Steak O’ Day — certified angus beef 8-ounce New York steak served with fresh market tomatoes, griddled mash and BBQ drizzle ($14.95).

Treat mom to a night out on Mother’s Day with dinner at Billy Bob’s at Sam’s Town, featuring special entrées for mom to choose from including either filet del Monico: a bacon-wrapped filet mignon topped with a peppercorn sauce ($29) or chicken Veronique: pan-seared chicken breast topped with a creamy white wine and grape sauce ($25). Entrées include house soup or salad, baked potato or rice and Billy’s bread basket. The entrées also come with Death by Chocolate dessert.

On Mother’s Day, the Redwood Bar and Grill at the California will feature an almond-crusted salmon dinner for $30. Dinner features fresh Atlantic salmon, crusted with roasted almonds, served with Macaire potato, infused shitake mushrooms and baby bok choy. Entrée includes soup or salad and a complimentary mandarin orange cheesecake for dessert.


Mama Son’s Kiss cocktail at Rice & Co.

Rice & Company at Luxor will offer moms a treat this Mother’s Day with a specialty sushi and cocktail pairing. Guests can celebrate the holiday with a pairing of the Hot Mama Roll and Mama Son’s Kiss cocktail, priced at $25. The celebratory roll is made with salmon, asparagus, spicy shrimp, spicy tuna and puff rice, served with a tasty spicy mayo sauce. The Mama Son’s Kiss is made with Ketel One Oranje vodka, yuzu liqueur, muddled strawberries and sweetened lemon juice.

Guests of Krispy Kreme at Castle Walk Food Court inside the Excalibur will be treated to a 15 percent discount on Extreme Doughnut orders personalized with family photos. Moms will enjoy the world-renowned doughnuts decorated with edible images of her loved ones for a truly memorable Mother’s Day. The unique present is available for a discounted price of $17.88 per dozen and $21.48 with a jelly or cream filling from Friday, May 10 – Sunday, May 12.

SHe by Morton’s inside The Shops at Crystals will offer guests a three-course specialty menu, priced at $68 per person. Additionally, all moms will receive a complimentary box of handmade chocolate truffles. The first course will begin with a choice of Le Poulet Wings, paired with hot sauce and Roquefort for dipping; garlic shrimp; or tenderloin crostini, served with whipped horseradish and crispy bread. For the second course, guests will have the option of tomato panzanella or grilled romaine salad in a creamy sherry dressing. Guests will have several options for the final course including a six-ounce center cut filet mignon; marinated skirt steak in a roasted jalapeño marinade; sautéed chicken breast in a Madeira wild mushroom sauce; or twin tails, roasted twin rock lobster tails in a vanilla citrus butter with roasted Yukon potatoes and grilled asparagus.

35 Steaks + Martinis at the Hard Rock Hotel serves up a specialty menu for moms’ special day. Start the meal off with Mom’s Chicken Soup ($10). The main course includes wild Alaskan halibut ($28) served with ragout of baby vegetables, golden spring chive butter and rainbow greens; and roasted chicken pot pie ($26), free range organic chicken, spring vegetables and thyme veloute inside a buttered pastry crust. Diners looking for a lighter bite can opt for the citrus lobster salad ($18). Top off dinner with a complimentary dessert selection of strawberry shortcake or vanilla bean crème brûlée with the purchase of any entrée.

The Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian has a decadent brunch menu for mothers from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The menu features items like crab and asparagus omelets and huevos Rancheros along with sweet treats such as chocolate chip-infused red velvet pancakes and breakfast beignets. Other highlights include an assortment of Champagne drinks, caramel banana-nut French toast, blueberry pancakes and more.

Fleur by Hubert Keller at Mandalay Bay offers a five-course menu for Mother’s Day with dishes such as the grilled salmon Nicoise with lemon vinaigrette and, for dessert, a banana cream tart served alongside Bailey’s ice cream.

The Café at Monte Carlo features a three-course menu with selections such as heirloom tomato soup with toasted brioche, seared halibut glazed in a wild mushroom sauce and a warm strawberry shortcake dessert.

Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian offers a special Mother’s Day menu that includes items like blue fin tuna carpaccio; white asparagus and greens salad; Gulf flounder with Chanterelle mushrooms; pan roasted duck and farmer’s market berry shortcake.

Table 10 at The Shoppes at The Palazzo will feature a seafood platter, served family-style, for $40 per person for Mother’s Day. It includes lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams, oysters, mussels and crab gumbo with sides like roasted red potatoes, grilled corn, sauces and garnishes.

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand will feature special Mother’s Day menu items including Dungeness crab Louis salad; Louisiana oyster stew; wild Gulf shrimp scampi; cedar plank grilled Alaskan king salmon; chili smoked red Gulf snapper and bananas Foster crepes.

Border Grill at Mandalay Bay is celebrating Mother’s Day with an unlimited small plates brunch for $39.99. Guests can also enjoy special dessert stations and $8 mimosas. Menu highlights include Peruvian shrimp and grits, short rib hash and egg with Negra Modelo braised beef short ribs, plantain empanada, and Yucatan eggs Benedict , a manchego cheese biscuit topped with Yucatan roasted pork, hollandaise sauce, egg and pickled onions.

Treat mom to a Mother’s Day champagne brunch at Marche Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop for $49 per person. Highlights include choice of spring vegetable soup, heirloom tomato salad, lyonnaise salad or roasted prawn; choice of smoked pulled pork eggs Benedict, lobster eggs Benedict, roasted chicken crepes, ora king salmon or top sirloin; and choice of chocolate crunch, traditional bread pudding or fruit clafoutis.

Celebrate this Mother’s Day at Rick Moonen’s rm seafood at Mandalay Bay. The rm special of the evening will include filet medallions, seared scallops, grilled asparagus with a truffle potato gratin and a Meyer lemon foam for $64.

Enjoy a brunch buffet at Origin India Restaurant & Bar from 10:30am to 3pm. Highlights include organic baby spinach and egg salad, mixed green with cheese and walnuts salad, spiced grilled potato salad with mint & tamarind sauce, chappli kebab, paneer dil tike, chicken tikka masala, kerala goat curry, chicken chutney, naan and more.
