North Las Vegas Police Trunk or Treat

The North Las Vegas Police Department will hold its annual Safe Halloween Event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, in the Home Depot parking lot, 1275 W. Craig Road, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard. The event provides a one-stop shop for live entertainment, free candy and trick-or-treating.

Spooky Things Storytime at Alexander Library

Enjoy books about skeletons and spiders, then make a Frankenstein-inspired craft. All ages are welcome to this free event, beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive. The same program will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Alexander Library, 1755 W. Alexander Road.
