North Las Vegas Police Trunk or Treat

The North Las Vegas Police Department will hold its annual Safe Halloween Event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, in the Home Depot parking lot, 1275 W. Craig Road, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard. The event provides a one-stop shop for live entertainment, free candy and trick-or-treating.

Spooky Things Storytime at Alexander Library

Enjoy books about skeletons and spiders, then make a Frankenstein-inspired craft. All ages are welcome to this free event, beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 at the North Las Vegas Library, 2300 Civic Center Drive. The same program will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Alexander Library, 1755 W. Alexander Road. Paying Your Rent

We thought we would drop you a little note on paying your rent. This comes from the Resident Handbook.
Rent is due and payable in advance on or before the 1st day of each month. However, we do extend a 3-day grace period before a late charge is assessed.
All rents must be paid by check, cashier’s check or money order. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH, Debit or Credit Cards.
Residents who pay their rent after the 3rd of the month will be charged a $25.00 late fee, plus $5.00 a day thereafter until the rent is paid in full. After the 5th of the month you must pay in certified funds (cashiers check or money orders),
A charge of $25.00 (plus late fees) will be assessed for RETURNED CHECKS, after the 2nd NSF you will be required to pay in cashiers check or money order.
